FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
RV SPOTS – If you are going to need an RV hookup please contact me, Joy, directly via text or call me at 281-787-9481 or email thecowgirlrevival@gmail.com. There are only 6 RV spots available so be sure to reserve your spot early.
HORSES – You are welcome to bring your horse. The pens are limited and can be reserved by contacting Joy directly. You may also set up your own horse or hot-wire pen close to your rig.
OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS – Aside from the RV hookups, there is plenty of room for trailer parking and you are welcome to run your generators. If you have a large group attending, there are a few VRBO/AirBNB houses in the area. There are also several hotels available in La Grange, which is a short 8 mile drive.
MEALS – We are not planning meals into the schedule (This is subject to change). This is going to be a Cowgirl Revival so don’t look for posh treatment, no offense meant. We will have some ice chests with lunch meat and condiments, water, peanut butter & jelly and bread to make sandwiches. If you would like to bring something to share, then please do! We’ll have some tables in the Gathering Room where you can get food and snacks throughout the day or you can share whatever you would like.
HUSBANDS – Can they come? Yes, they can. But be forewarned. We WILL put them to work. And since this is a CowGIRL meeting, they should prepare themselves for hearing things that they may not want to hear about. Like… husbands… and girl stuff.
DOGS – Can I bring my dog? You absolutely can bring your well behaved dog, but we ask that you leave your pets at your trailer during the meeting times. We want everyone to have a chance to be in the moment, without any distractions. Also, please be aware that there are chickens, horses, cows, and other dogs and cats on the premises
WHAT TO BRING – Food and drinks for yourself, a lawn chair, a Bible. No Bible? No worries! We have you covered.
IMPORTANT! If you do not have a place to stay, please DO NOT let that deter you from attending. We have plenty of cots and will make something work. There are restrooms on site. Just bring yourself, a lawn chair and a sleeping bag!
IN CLOSING – We want you to come as you are, we want you to feel welcome and loved. We are all sisters in Christ and are commissioned by God to reach out to each other. This weekend will be led by the Spirit of God and we can’t wait to see you there!
Check back for new classes.
Everyone is welcome!
Pastors, teachers, disciples and those just curious about the Kingdom of God.
Joy has a heart for God and an ability to teach His Word in a way we can all relate to. Much like all of us, Joy has had the privilege of walking through many trials in her 60 years. Now, through the power of God, the redemption of Jesus Christ and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit she can help you, too, see the Power and Truth in God's Words, no matter your situation.
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
